IPB Received Visits of SMAN 1 Genteng of Banyuwangi and SMAN 1 of Jambi

Hundreds of students of SMAN (State Senior High School) 1 Genteng of Jambi and SMAN 1 of Banyuwangi made a visit to Bogor Agricultural University (IPB). They were greeted by the Head of Promotion Division, Bureau of Law, Promotion and Public Relations of IPB, Dr.drh. M. Fachrudin in Toyib Hadiwijaya Auditorium of Faculty of Agriculture, Dramaga campus of IPB.

 

Representative of SMAN 1 Genteng, Abdul Latif, S.Pd said that the purpose of visit to IPB is to get an actual picture of the learning conditions in college. In addition it is expected to serve as inspiration for the students to move towards the future. "IPB is one of the universities which is quite good in terms of education and alumni, so worthy as the location for a visit," he said.

 

Meanwhile, representative of SMAN 1 Jambi, Karnama expressed gratitude for the welcome given by IPB. According to him, next year is the period of taking choices for the students involved in this visit and he hoped the visit will enlighten the students.

 

On the occasion, the students were informed about IPB’s profile, innovation as well as admission to IPB by Dr.drh. M. Fachrudin. Before ending the visit in IPB, the group were invited to look around the buildings of IPB on a bus accompanied by IPB’s team of socialization. (Mtd)
