IPB Ready to Facilitate Villages in Management of Village Fund

Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) is ready to be a partner of villages in planning, evaluation and reporting of rural programs. So Said Director of Strategic Studies and Agricultural Policy (KSKP) of IPB Dr. Dodik R Nurrochmat, in the Friday Tour (Jumling) of IPB, (21/8), in Benteng village, Ciampea District of Bogor Regency.
 
This was welcomed by the Village Head of Benteng, H. Faka Harika along with his staffs. He also said, he would not hesitate to ask the experts in IPB for the idea of how to use the village funds that will soon come from the central government periodically. "To reach the right target for the development of the village as a whole," he added.
 
Further, to the dozens of people present to the event, Faka appealed that they take advantage of what has been given by IPB – whether it is mentoring, training, knowledge about agriculture and all the equipment for education and health. And, the younger generations have to learn a lot and have desire and motivation to take studies in IPB.
 
The Friday Tour of IPB in in the Village of Benteng is conducted by giving donations to the orphans, equipment for Early Childhood Education (ECD), Posyandu and seeds for Women Farmer Group (KWT). Also present in the Friday Tour team were Vice Head of the Institute of Research and Community Service (LPPM) of IPB, Dr. Hartoyo;  representative of the Human Resource Development Centre (P2SDM) of LPPM-IPB, Warcito, SP, MM, Agrianita IPB and IPB public relations team.
