I-SHARE is a flagship program aimed to foster the students’ social sensitivity towards the problems faced by the community and instill their spirit of community. This is packaged in a series of events: Student Movement of Going Down to Villages, I-Share Expo, Community Empowerment Seminar, and Village Works Expo.
"The presence of students representing the higher education as intellectuals is often constrained by the limitation (gap) between the students and the community. Therefore, it is important to foster the students’ social sensitivity towards the social problems around them. In addition, the lack of appreciation from various parties has caused a low motivation of the students to engage directly with the public", said Susi Susanti as Chairman of the Committee. (Mtd)
