The Aquaculture Students Association of IPB Organized 2017 Aquaculture Festival

In the near future the Aquaculture Students Association of Bogor Agricultural University (HIMAKUA-IPB) will organize the biggest event "Aquaculture Festival 2017". This event was planned to be carried out on 21-22 October 2017 at Taman Koleksi of IPB Campus, Baranangsiang. The Aquaculture Festival or Aquafest is an annual activity organized by HIMAKUA of Bogor Agricultural University. According to Bobby Suryanto, one of members of the Organizing Committee, the activity that has been implemented since 2010 aims to provide knowledge and promote on the aquaculture for the community. This activity will introduce the prospect and potential of aquaculture in Indonesia. Not only that, the event has been exhibiting innovation, technology and art from the world of aquaculture.  The theme for the present event is "The Biggest Treasure and Beauty of Aquaculture".

" Exciting Adventures guaranteed. There will be many competitions and bazaars in this event, ranging from the Live Betta Contest for those who like the beauty of the blend of colors, shapes and flick of elegant nan from Cupang fish. There are coloring and drawing contests for children of kindergarten and elementary school (SD), poster contest, and photography competition," Booby said.

Of course, there will be  Aquaculture Center and Bazar of Aquaculture which sells various fishery products, ornamental and fishery equipment, there are also culinary bazaar, book bazaar, talk show which present Director General of Aquaculture, Ministry of Marine and Fisheries (KKP), ornamental fish business, and academicians as resource persons on "Global Competition and Aquaculture Development in the Field of Ornamental Fish". For underwater beauty enthusiasts there are also Quick Setting Aquascape Contest, Restocking Entertainment and so on. The prize of the race was not half-hearted to reach millions of rupiah plus get a certificate.
