Male Team of IPB Won the Male TAFISA Traditional Sport Game
The TAFISA World Sport for all Games is TAFISA’S Flagship event, held every four years in different location. The world's sixth sporting event or the sixth TAFISA Games, held from 6 to 12 October in Jakarta. A total of 87 countries and 29 provinces competed in the current event. The TAFISA became an event and momentum for the gathering of the world community to exercise and see that the foundation of sport is really fostered from traditional sports and recreational sports, such as Hadang, Dagongan and so on. Bogor Agricultural University also had the opportunity to participate and sent its best players in those traditional games competition. In such event IPB won the second prize and the fourth winner of the male traditional sport's game. Team of IPB for current TAFISA were M. Nurdin, Yudi Munandar, Linga Buana, M. Khoirur Roziqin, Nur Imad Al Haq, Ahmad Zuhdi, Sri Kurniaman Zai and Taupiq Ginanjar. The traditional sport’ games were held for 2 days on 8-9 October 2016.

TAFISA began in the 1960s as the semi regular gathering of international but individual personalities and leaders interested and working in the field of Sport for All, under the title ‘Trim and Fitness’. In 1991, TAFISA (then the Trim And Fitness International Sport for All Association), was officially formed in Bordeaux, France and its statutes registered with the law courts of Frankfurt, Germany. TAFISA Games are held every four years. A total of 87 countries and 29 provinces competed in the event. The Association For International Sport for All (TAFISA) is the leading international Sport for All organisation. With more than 270 members from over 150 countries on all continents, TAFISA aims to achieve an Active World by globally promoting and facilitating access for every person to Sport for All and physical activity. Dagongan is a traditional sports game that uses a bamboo with a certain size as a tool to pit the power to encourage each other between the team with another team. This traditional sports game is the opposite of the game of tug of war. Game of thrust, the two teams push each other hard to find victory. The Dagongan field, is rectangular size 2 m x 18 m and the length bamboo used is 5 m to 8 meter with diameter 12 cm – 18 cm. Participants are declared winners, if one team can beat another team with a score of 2 – 0 or 2 – 1 (in case of a draw). Each team for the Dagongan traditional sport game consists of 7 players, 5 core players to compete and 2 players as a backup, "said Sri Kurniaman Zai whose friends usually called Oppy Zai.
Hadang or Gobak Sodor is a traditional game in Indonesia which consists of two teams and one of a team attacked each other to through the absolute line. The game is very easy to play. The game is carried in the field of about 15 m x 9 m, to make 5 lines consist of 4 vertical and 1 horizontal lines, where each vertical line 4.5 x 5 meter long and 9 meter long horizontal split right down the vertical line. The game is played by 2 groups (each group consist of 5 people). One group being a linesman and the other group try to cross from first line to the last line and go back. 4 linesman players keep the vertical lines and one linesman player guard the horizontal player. It is generally played by a team of eight members, five core and three spare players. All games will be 2 x 20 minute in duration.
He also explained, the winner in this game is determined by the amount of value obtained by one team, after the game ends. The value assignment is taken from any player who made it past the front line until the backline was rated one, and the player who also made it past the back line up to the front line was rated one.
