Debriefing of 26 Students of Fateta of IPB Towards The 2nd AUCFA Student Seminar and Competition

In order to promote the international academic cooperation, Faculty of Agricultural Technology (Fateta), Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), was active in ASEAN University Consortium on Food and Agro-based Engineering and Technology Education (AUCFA). AUCFA was founded in Bogor on 28 October 2012 where Fateta IPB was one of the initiators and the founders. The purpose of this activity was improving the cooperation and the collaboration between each member, developing and promoting the publication of scientific journals, supporting the exchange of students and staff, as well as building the regional education standard to achieve global education standard.
 
The 4thAUCFA Conference and Workshop and The 2nd AUCFA Student Seminar and Competition would be held in Bangkok on 4-5 February 2016. Be present in this event was Dean of Fateta, Prof.Dr. Kudang Boro Seminar, Vice Dean and Heads of Departments in Fateta and Dr. Sam Herodian as the Founder. 
 
On the occasion, as many as 26 students consisting of 9 teams would represent Fateta of IPB. Nine teams would present the results of the rice-based product innovation which was able to compete in the global market in the form of presentation and video. The participants of competition came from the universities included in the membership of AUCFA.

Through the support from Fateta IPB, it was expected to be able to open the opportunities of students to reach the achievement and to improve their soft skills. “In addition to getting the valuable experience, the students of Fateta IPB are also expected to increase the self-confidence when attending the international activities thus it can live up the good name of Fateta of IPB,” explained the Dean of Fateta, Prof.Dr. Kudang Boro Seminar, in the briefing delivered in the Meeting Room of Fateta, Friday (22/1).***
