Students of ITK-FPIK IPB as Indonesian delegation in AYLAPH Program in Philippine Monday, July 13, 2015
Rivalni Septiadi, Students of the Department of Marine Science and Technology (ITK), Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK), Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) becomes the Indonesian delegation to the ASEAN Youth Leader’s Association Philippine (AYLAPH) in 2015 (4-6/7) in Manila, Philippine. This 50th Batch student joined with 50 other delegates from each country of ASEAN.
AYLAPH program, taking the theme "Cultural Unification: fostering diversity in ASEAN Community Advancing for a Common Goal", is an activity of leadership and culture. In this event there are Seminars, Workshop, Amazing Race, Cultural Show, and Bonfire Activity.
The first day is filled with seminars/workshops of the international speakers. On this occasion Rivalni asked about the readiness of ASEAN as a large community in welcoming the AEC in 2015 with the existing cultural differences.
Apart from the workshop, there was also the show Amazing Race, which is a sporting event that develops delegates how to be a good leader and have good teamwork with different characters. The next activity was to visit one of the best universities in the Philippines, the Philippine Normal University, and the event was closed with a Cultural Show from 10 countries of ASEAN (Mtd)
