IPB University Wins Three Awards at the 2026 Indonesia DEI & ESG Awards
IPB University has once again achieved national recognition by winning three awards at the 2026 Indonesia DEI & ESG Awards (IDEAS), organized by PR Indonesia. The 2026 IDEAS awards ceremony took place at the Ambhara Hotel in Jakarta on (7/9).
These awards recognize IPB University’s commitment to implementing various communication programs that promote the sustainable application of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) as well as environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles.
At the event, IPB University won awards in three categories, namely:
- Gold Winner in the DEI Communication Program Category – Gender Equality and Diversity – Cultural Diversity Development at IPB University Dormitories
- Gold Winner in the DEI Communication Program Category – Disability Inclusion – IPB University Friends of Inclusion and Disability (SIDI IPB)
- Silver Winner in the ESG Communication Program Category – Governance – Warung Mercusuar BEM KM IPB University
IPB University Rector Dr Alim Setiawan Slamet expressed his appreciation to the entire academic community for their contributions in creating various innovative and impactful programs.
“This award is the result of collaboration among the entire IPB University academic community. We believe that sustainability, good governance, and an inclusive culture are essential foundations for building a world class university that provides tangible benefits to society,” he said.
According to him, the award serves as motivation for IPB University to continue strengthening a culture of innovation, collaboration, and communication that is oriented toward sustainability and provides broader benefits to society.
Through various communication and community empowerment programs, IPB University continues to integrate DEI and ESG values into the implementation of the university’s three pillars.
The various initiatives undertaken include strengthening a culture of inclusion, promoting gender equality and diversity, improving access for people with disabilities, empowering communities, preserving the environment, implementing transparent and accountable governance, and developing innovations that support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
These achievements serve as tangible evidence of IPB University’s commitment to building an excellent, inclusive, and sustainable institution, while also strengthening its role as a university that contributes to addressing various development challenges at both the national and global levels.
