IPB University has launched the Journalism Scholarship Program as part of its efforts to strengthen national journalism capacity. This program is designed to provide broader access to education for media professionals seeking to pursue graduate studies (master’s degree/S2), while also enhancing the quality of public communication based on science, innovation, and sustainable development.

IPB University Rector, Dr Alim Setiawan Slamet, explained that the Journalist Scholarship program is designed as a national capacity-building partnership through a flexible, collaborative, and sustainable educational framework.

He added that collaboration between universities and the media is a strategic step toward building a healthy and sustainable communication ecosystem.

“IPB University believes that quality information is the foundation for a smart, democratic, and globally competitive society,” he said.
