IPB University Ranked 3rd Best University in ASEAN based on The AppliedHe Public University Ranking
The AppliedHe Public University Ranking ASEAN 2024 has released a list of the best universities in ASEAN, including Indonesia. AppliedHe is a ranking of universities in ASEAN countries. This ranking is based on the quality of teaching, research, community engagement, internationalisation, and reputation.
In this first edition ranking, there are 80 state universities (PTN) participating from various countries in ASEAN, namely Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
Regarding this achievement, the Rector of IPB University, Prof Arif Satria expressed his gratitude for this achievement. “Ranking is indeed important but the most important thing is that IPB University must continue to spread the benefits as widely as possible, so that the benefits that can be felt not only for local people, but can also be felt more widely by the world community,” said Prof Arif.
Gratitude was also conveyed by the Vice Rector of IPB University for Research, Innovation and Agromaritime Development of Society, Prof Ernan Rustiadi in his social media account. He expressed his gratitude because IPB University was ranked the third best university in ASEAN.
“Alhamdulillah, this happy news comes from the AppliedHe Public University Ranking ASEAN 2024 which has released the first ranking specifically for state universities in ASEAN in 2024. IPB University won the first rank of the Best PTN at the Indonesian level and the third rank of the best PTN at the ASEAN level. Congratulations and enthusiasm to continue to work,” said Prof Ernan.
