IPB University Launches I-Promise, Goods and Services Procurement Application for Internal Units
The Head of the Procurement Unit of IPB University, Setiawan, SE, MM socialized the I-Promise application that was developed to facilitate the procurement of goods and services for all units at IPB University. This socialization was held at the Andi Hakim Nasution Auditorium, Dramaga Campus of IPB, (6/2).
We are currently making a Mandiri Procurement System (Development of the I-Promise System), an application to submit goods and services requests from each unit. The system is similar when shopping at an online shop. The application was made in an effort to answer the problems that often arise in the implementation of procurement of goods and services. For example the provision of goods and services is considered slow due to a complicated procurement administration process, the quality of procurement results does not meet the needs, the provider has low performance, there is no standardization of goods (brand / type variations become many), procurement personnel are at risk of disputes with providers, and so on, " he said.
The I-Promise application is expected to be able to answer these problems and accelerate the needs of goods and services for each unit to be met. In addition, the development of this application is also so that the quality of goods and services is guaranteed, the providers perform well and are responsive, the efficiency of the procurement process of goods and services, avoiding disputes and legal protection / certainty.
Through this application, each unit is asked to assign one admin who can access and be responsible for requests for goods and services requested by the unit. Furthermore, there will be a separate workshop with procurement management operators in each unit, "he added.
The content presented in the I-Promise System includes a list of needs planning, proposed needs through a joint ceiling / RKA, proposals for procurement proposals, umbrella contract shopping proposals, office stationery (ATK) and Catering Services.
Meanwhile, in his remarks, the Secretary of the Institute, Dr. Aceng Hidayat said that the development of this application aims to equalize the understanding of procurement of goods / services in accordance with the chancellor's regulations which are expected to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of budget absorption and avoid administrative errors.
