IPB University Held a National Seminar on Pancasila
The Directorate of Student Affairs and Career Development of IPB University (Ditmawa PK) held a Pancasila Nationality Seminar at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM) Dramaga Campus, Bogor, (19/01). Participants who attended were IPB University students, alumni as well as Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) administrators. This seminar took the theme “Inspiration, Creation for Superior HR”.
The Rector of IPB University, Prof. Dr. Arif Satria conveyed his inspiration about religion in Indonesia. Superior Human Resources (HR) are the most useful for others. The influencing factors are integrity, innovation, and inspiration. The results show that with strong integrity can increase trust and coordination.
“IPB University innovations can enhance the transformation process in Indonesia. One of the innovations is santripreneur. Collaboration is an important key in increasing innovation. The santri community can become potential because of these factors. Da’wah is the development of inspiration, “he explained.
In this seminar activity, IPB University presented Prof. Dr. KH Said Aqil Siroj, MA as the Steering Board of the Pancasila Ideology Development Board (BPIP). Prof. Said explained that Islam had long been built by intelligent people. Various religions are accepted by the community. Previously the book was only read by certain strata. Monotheism harmonizes between religion and culture. Every people have their own culture and proud innovation.
He mentioned pesantren bring simplicity, mutual help, openness and strong ukhuwah. Position and occupation are not important goals in learning in pesantren. Nationalism is part of faith.
“As long as there are Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution, the Republic of Indonesia will not disperse. Pancasila must not be debated and must be practiced. Hopefully IPB University can improve integrity, total religion, and maximum culture, “said Prof. Said. (IAAS/NAS)
