Advice from Haddad Alwi in IIF-2012

Indonesian nasheed singer Haddad Alwi filled up the peak event of IPB Islamic Festival (IIF) 2012 with "Spirit of Live Music Concert", (17/11), in Darmaga Campus. At every interval time of performing a nasheed song, Haddad always delivered good messages to the participants. One advice is that we should always remember Allah, the Lord of the Universe and ask for the blessings to Prophet Muhammad as a sign of love of Muslims.

"If we always love the Allah messenger, then all the differences among the Muslims will disappear. It is a problem that we are from various groups: Muhammadiyah, Nahdhatul Ulama, or Persis and so on; with God willing, we will go to heaven if we love God and the Messenger as well as perform good deeds. It is our food deeds that will be assessed in the presence of God and lead us to heaven," said Haddad.

Haddad also calls for the participants to love Muslims each other and cover their Muslim brother disgrace. Covering the disgrace of fellow Muslims is obligatory. "We should cover the disgrace of our brother, Insha Allah (with God willing), Allah will also cover our disgrace us in both this world and the hereafter," he continued. About five songs of nasheed were presented by Haddad Alwi.

IIF 2012 was organized by Mosque Family Council (DKM) Al Hurriyah in order to welcome the new year of Hijra as the beginning of change for the youth of the nation into a better direction. Besides Haddad Alwi, IIF also invited Ustadz Muhammad Kasfi Heer, the young preacher of ANTV and presented other musical performances such as those by Agriaswara, MAX!, Percussion, and Hadrah KMNU.
