Student of IPB Learns Risk Management
Association of Student Profession of Center of Management (COM@) of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) presented the International Seminar featuring “International Seminar Risk Management COMIC with MSIG” in the Auditorium Common Classroom IPB (26/5). This program obtained a full support from PT Asuransi MSIG Indonesia by presenting the competent speaker in his/her field.
“Through this program it is expected to be able to give the knowledge to the participants about Risk Management and MSIG Insurance and develop the student’s creativity through Jingle and Poster Competitions,” said Kukuh Iman Nur Setiawan as Chief Executive.
Amounting to 1,050 participants coming from the students of IPB both students of Tingkat Persiapan Bersama (TPB), S1, S2, D3, extension, and students from various other universities also participated in this program. Besides that, the employees of Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM) IPB, lecturer and staff of Department of Management, lecturer and staff of Department of Economics, lecturer and staff of Department of Agribusiness, lecturer and staff of Department of Economic Resource and Environment, chairman of BEM throughout IPB, and chairman of University Student Affairs Institution of FEM IPB were also presented.
Mr. Akihiko Kawakami, the Finance Director of PT Asuransi MSIG Indonesia with the theme of “Introduction to Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group (MSIG) as the first resource person explained about MSIG company that was running in the fields of company insurance and individual insurance. Then it was continued by the second speaker of Mr Agoes Salim as the Marketing Manager of PT Asuransi MSIG Indonesia with the theme of “Insurance Highlight”.
The second session was continued by Mr. Zul Akmal as the Claim Manager of PT Asuransi MSIG Indonesia with the theme of “Claim Insurance” then it was continued by Mr. Chong Peng Yeo as the Risk Management Expert from Interisk Asia with the theme of “Business Continuity Management”.
On the same occasion, it was also announced the winners of Jingle and Poster Competitions which were opened to the students throughout Indonesia and the international students.
For Jingle Competition, the first champion was achieved by Mahesa Ahening Raras Kaesthi from Sanata Dharma University of Yogyakarta, the runner-up was achieved by Bambang Yusup from Bogor Agricultural University, and the third champion was achieved by Erwin Rommel from Jendral Soedirman University Purwokerto.
For Poster Competition, the first champion was achieved by Dhimas Bagus Nugraha from Bogor Agricultural University, the runner-up was achieved by Lutfhan Hadhi Priambodo from Kangwon National University, Korea, and the third champion was achieved by Bayu Pratama Hadiputra from Institut Kesenian Jakarta (zul)
