Here are the Study Programs to be Opened by IPB in PDD Sukabumi

 

All stakeholders throughout the municipalities and regencies in West Java province such as secondary schools and private universities view the opening of the Study Programs Outside Domicile (PDD IPB) in Sukabumi as an opportunity and partner to develop knowledge and human resources in West Java. This was expressed by the Regional Secretary of Sukabumi at the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the results of the feasibility study (FS) with IPB and in Sukabumi Mayor’s Office, Monday (4/4).

 

In the FGD, IPB described what PDD IPB is, the results of IPB PDD survey mainly concerning with the study programs, the mechanism of new student admissions, and guaranteed quality standards of education equal to that of IPB in Bogor.

 

Dr. Aceng Hidayat as the team leader of PDD IPB said that the results of the FS based on the policy aspects of local government, the resource potential of the region, the availability of supporting infrastructure, potential students, the study programs to open in priority are Aquaculture (S1 and Diploma), Ecotourism (Diploma), Production technology / Livestock (S1 and Diploma), Agronomy (S1), and Agricultural Economics, Resources and Environment (S1).

 

"However, the final determination of the study programs and time of registration will made by IPB leaders in the next few days based on the survey results, input from internal FGD, and readiness of infrastructure, human resources (HR) and finance / budget," said the doctoral graduate of Humbold University of Berlin Germany’s. *** (Mtd)
