IPB University Religious Arts Student Organization Collaborates with UPTQ UIN Bandung to Promote Islamic Arts Collaboration Across Greater Bandung
The Religious Arts Student Organization (UKM Seni Religi) of IPB University successfully established a partnership agreement with the Qur’anic Recitation Development Unit (UPTQ) of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. This collaborative initiative was formed during a Comparative Study and Courtesy Visit program held solemnly at the LP2M Hall, Campus 1 of UIN Bandung.
Unlike previous years, this forum introduced a new approach by involving representatives of Qur’anic arts organizations from major universities across Greater Bandung, including the Islamic Student Arts Institute of Universitas Al-Ghifari (Lasmi Unfari), PTQ Universitas Padjadjaran, UPTQ Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), and UPTQ Universitas Islam Bandung as a platform for consolidating strategies in promoting Islamic arts.
The agreement was signed by Mohammad Arsad Mukromin as the Chairman of UKM Seni Religi IPB University and Rifqi Maulana Ihsan as the Chairman of UPTQ UIN Bandung. The collaboration focuses on four main areas, namely routine and joint training programs, the creation of new artistic works and innovations, media partnerships and joint publications, as well as support for delegation participation and administrative fee discounts for competitions.
To further elaborate on these areas of collaboration, a focus group discussion (FGD) session was also conducted. Through this forum, representatives from participating universities exchanged ideas and experiences while formulating joint solutions related to organizational development strategies, strengthening member quality, innovative work programs, and challenges in creative Islamic outreach in the digital era.
“Through this activity, we aim to build a collaborative ecosystem among Islamic arts and Qur’anic development organizations that does not stop at ceremonial activities alone, but can be realized through concrete programs that contribute to the development of both members and organizations,” said Mohammad Arsad Mukromin.
Moving forward, both parties are fully committed to directly implementing all points of the agreement into concrete actions for mutual advancement at the national level. (IAAS/ADF) (*/Rz)
