Fishing Vessel Race Competition, A Race Between Prototype Vessels at Nautica Fest 2026

The Fishing Vessel Race Competition (FVRC) 2026 is part of the Nautica Fest 2026 series organized by the IPB University Student Association for Fisheries Resource Utilization (Himafarin). Under the theme “Nexus of Innovation: Shaping the Future of Fisheries,” this competition will, for the first time, feature live testing of prototype vessels designed by students. Participants from various universities across Indonesia took part in presentation sessions, test runs, and the actual boat race. FVRC 2026 serves as a platform to test creativity, technical skills, strategy, and boat performance while fostering innovation in the fields of fisheries and maritime affairs.
