IPB University Admits 3.601 Prospective New Students Through the 2026 SNBP Pathway

IPB University has admitted 3.601 prospective new students (camaba) for Undergraduate (S1) and Applied Undergraduate (D4) programs through the 2026 National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP) pathway. The results of the SNBP selection were announced on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 15.00 WIB. The total number of SNBP applicants to IPB University in 2026 reached 30.198 participants.

The Vice Rector for Education and Student Affairs at IPB University, Prof Deni Noviana, stated that this year IPB University is admitting new students through the SNBP pathway, the National Selection Based on Tests (SNBT), and the Independent Admission pathway. 

This year, 43% of new students at IPB University are admitted through SNBP out of the total admission capacity.

For the SNBT pathway, as part of a national mandate, registration has been open since March 27, 2026, and will close on April 7, 2026. Meanwhile, the Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK) will be held from April 21 to April 30, 2026, with IPB University serving as one of the UTBK 2026 test centers.

IPB University has prepared two campus locations (Dramaga Campus and Cilibende Vocational School Campus) as UTBK venues. In addition to ensuring the smooth execution of UTBK in terms of technical aspects and excellent service, this year IPB University will also create a more engaging and memorable atmosphere through various interactive programs for participants and their companions, such as Museum Tours, Meet-and-Greet with the Vidi-Vidia Mascot, and Surprise Prize Quizzes.

For the Independent Admission pathway, IPB University offers several options, including the IPB Independent Selection (SM-IPB), Student Council President (Ketua OSIS) pathway, Talent pathway (formerly International and National Achievement/PIN pathway), Regional Representative Scholarship (BUD), and International Class pathway.

The Director of Educational Administration and New Student Admissions at IPB University, Dr Utami Dyah Syafitri, added that prospective students who have been accepted through the 2026 SNBP pathway can begin preparing their online registration documents.
