The VII Munas Appoints New HA Chair, Closes the 2025 Alumni Homecoming Festival Series

The 2025 Alumni Homecoming Festival (PRA IPK) series was officially closed through the VII National Conference (Munas) of the IPB Alumni Association (HA IPB), which appointed new leadership. This Munas marked the end of one management period and the beginning of a new leadership relay for HA IPB.

During the VII Munas, Fauzi H Amro, SPt, MSi was elected as Chairman of HA IPB, accompanied by Dr Anggawira, MM, MH as Secretary General. This new leadership is expected to strengthen the role of alumni as strategic partners of the campus and drivers of real contributions to society.

The Rector of IPB University, Dr Alim Setiawan Slamet, appreciated the smooth and mature implementation of the Munas during the PRA IPK series. According to him, the presence of thousands of alumni during this event reflects the solidarity and strength of collaboration among IPB University alumni.

“This is no small feat. Bringing thousands of alumni to campus and organizing it well demonstrates the strength of collaboration between alumni and the campus,” he said.

He considered the VII Munas to be proof of the maturity of IPB alumni in organizing. “Ready to compete, but also ready to work together. This shows the maturity of IPB alumni in competing while maintaining the spirit of their alma mater,” he added.

On this occasion, the Rector of IPB University also congratulated the elected Chairman and Secretary General. He hoped that the new management would uphold the principle of continuity with improvement. “The good will be continued, the lacking will be improved, so that HA IPB can truly move up a class,” he said.

The Chairman of HA IPB for the 2021-2025 period, Dr Walneg S Jas, said that the VII Munas was an important part of the regeneration of the alumni organization.

“Alhamdulillah, today we have handed over the leadership baton. This is part of a healthy organizational cycle,” he said.

The elected Chairman, Fauzi H Amro, affirmed his commitment to continuing the foundation built by the previous management. “We will continue what is good and add to what is lacking. HA IPB must be a strong link between alumni and the campus,” he said.

The VII HA Munas closed the 2025 PRA IPK series with a spirit of togetherness and collective commitment to strengthen the contribution of alumni in supporting the transformation and advancement of IPB University. (AS) (IAAS/KQA)
