IPB University Wins 16 Awards at the 2025 Diktisaintek Awards
IPB University has once again made a proud achievement by winning a total of 16 awards at the 2025 Diktisaintek Awards organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek). Present at the award ceremony was the Vice Rector of IPB University for Global Connectivity, Cooperation, and Alumni, Prof Iskandar Z Siregar.
“Alhamdulillah, IPB University has again received 16 award certificates, both from individual and institutional categories. This achievement demonstrates recognition of IPB University’s performance,” he said while attending the 2025 Diktisaintek Award ceremony held in Jakarta on Friday (12/19).
He emphasized that this award is not only symbolic but also reflects IPB University’s consistency in implementing the three pillars of higher education in a high quality manner that has a real impact on society.
According to him, the appreciation given by Kemdiktisaintek is a form of recognition for the various achievements of IPB University in the fields of higher education, research, innovation, and community service. “This is an appreciation from Kemdiktisaintek for the achievements of IPB University,” he said.
The Rector of IPB University, Dr Alim Setiawan, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for this achievement. The Rector hopes that this achievement can be a motivation and encouragement for all IPB University members, both individually and institutionally.
“We hope that this award will motivate and encourage the IPB University community to continue to work harder, smarter, with higher quality, and of course with greater impact,” he said.
The 2025 Diktisaintek Award is a form of appreciation from Kemdiktisaintek to universities and other parties that are considered to have actively contributed to supporting the implementation of higher education, research, and technology programs and policies.

- Silver Winner – Best Senior Scientist in Social Humanities Innovation Category (Prof Dr Sofyan Sjaf)
- Bronze Winner – Best Senior Scientist in Social Humanities Innovation Category (Dr Handian Purwawangsa)
- Bronze Winner – Best Young Scientist in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Category
Research Commercialization Award
