IPB University Facilitates Museum Tour to Parents of UTBK-SNBT 2024 Participants

In the implementation of the Computer-Based Written Examination-National Selection Based on Test (UTBK-SNBT) Year 2024 at IPB Dramaga Campus, the parents who accompanied the exam participants were given the opportunity to take a Museum Tour and Tour around IPB Campus.

Through this Museum Tour, IPB University invites parents and families of UTBK participants to fill their spare time while waiting for the exam to finish by enjoying the beauty of the IPB Dramaga Campus, seeing a number of facilities in it by traveling around using the campus bus.

The tour starts from Lake SDGs, one of the favorite spots of IPB University residents, especially students. This place is often used for outdoor activities, such as gymnastics, light exercise, morning walks, or just a place to chat casually while looking at the refreshing and calming atmosphere.

In addition to visiting Lake SDGs, the companions of UTBK-SNBT participants were invited to explore the various faculties at IPB University. Furthermore, they were invited to visit the IPB Future Museum and Gallery. Here they can explore historical information that is presented clearly and interestingly. In the audiovisual room of the museum there is also a mini theater that tells the history and future of IPB University.

Chairman of the Institute for Information Management and Digital Transformation (LMITD) IPB University, Ir Julio Adisantoso, MKom said that the IPB Future Museum and Gallery also records the history of agricultural education in Indonesia, which shows the development of agricultural education from the past to the future.

“There are many facilities in the IPB Future Museum and Gallery, visitors are presented with 360-degree photobooth interactive events and Virtual Campus Tour (VCT). We hope this knowledge can also motivate parents to encourage their children to pursue education at IPB University,” he said.

One of the companions of UTBK-SNBT participants, Sofyan, gave a positive impression of the explanation and friendliness of the IPB University Museum officers.
“I am very satisfied with the experience in the audiovisual room, I can see an overview of the faculties at IPB University. The information is also delivered in a light language so that it is more easily understood by new visitors like me,” he said.
