Muhammad Isbayu Elected as Chairman of Fortendik IPB University for the 2023-2025 period
The results of the electronic voting (e-voting) election for the Chairman of the IPB University Education Personnel Forum (Fortendik) which was held on Thursday (6/7) have elected Muhammad Isbayu, AMd as Chair of the Fortendik IPB University for the 2023-2025 period. Muhammad Isbayu won 55.68 per cent of the votes (510 people) out of a total of 916 subordinate votes who exercised their voting rights. While the other candidate, Dr Suratni, won 44.32 per cent of the vote (406 people).
"The election process for the Chairman of Fortendik IPB University this year is different from previous years. We use a direct election mechanism through the e-voting application starting from selecting ten potential candidates, administrative selection to determining the chairman. Vote counting is also carried out automatically, in real-time by the system," said the committee chairman, Vera Nora Indra Astuti, SPt, MM.
Furthermore, the Administrative Chairman of the School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Science IPB University explained that the staff members who have voting rights are civil servants (PNS), non-PNS permanent employees and contract employees. Employee data with voting rights is withdrawn from the IPB University Personnel System. To access e-voting, employees use the IPB user access and can only vote once.
"Thank you to the IPB University Information Management Institute and Digital Transformation team for providing the e-voting system. This is a new breakthrough for honest, fair and open voting," she added.
In the Open Debate for Candidates for Chairman of Fortendik IPB University, Muhammad Isbayu, AMd conveyed his vision and mission and motivation to participate in the election for Chairman of Fortendik IPB 2023-2025. "I took part in this election because I wanted to contribute directly to the progress of students by conveying aspirations to a higher level and growing together with my fellow students in line with the transformation of IPB University into a techno-socio entrepreneurial university," said the man who was born in Depok, June 26 1981's.
Carrying out the tagline Three Asa Tendik IPB Sasarengan (Tiasa), the Social Entrepreneurship Supervisor of the Directorate of Agromaritime Community Development IPB University also presented his proposed work programs: Siwati, namely Siti (Information Synergy of Tendik IPB), Wati (Place for Aspirations of Tendik) and Tissa (Tendik IPB Happy Smile).
Meanwhile Dr Suratni carries the tagline Asa Effort as outlined in his work program to create an adaptive Fortendik by strengthening self-efficacy and resilience. "I hope to create a diverse team of inspiration, innovation and creativity to build a positive and optimistic mindset for educational staff," said the Chairman of the IPB University Student Dormitory Management Unit.
