IPB University Vice Rector for Research, Innovation and Agromaritime Development Visits ARM HA IPB University Headquarters
In the midst of preparing the Learning Workshop from the Cianjur Earthquake Emergency Response and Recovery Assistance Activities, the functionaries of the Independent Volunteer Action of the Alumni Association (ARM HA) IPB University received an encouraging surprise. Vice Rector of IPB University for Research, Innovation and Agromaritime Development, Prof Ernan Rustiadi came to visit ARM HA IPB University Headquarters at IPB Alumni Building, Baranangsiang, Bogor City, (9/6).
Prof Ernan was accompanied by a team from the Directorate of Agromaritime Community Development (PMA) IPB University, namely Dr Supriyanto, Assistant Director of Agromaritime Community Services and Digital Farming, and Danang Aria Nugroho, SE, MSi, Supervisor of Agromaritime Community Services.
Prof Ernan's arrival was welcomed directly by the Chairperson of ARM HA IPB University, Ir Ahmad Husein, MSi accompanied by Members of the Board of Trustees Ir Ali Fatoni, Chairperson 2 Ir Emy Puji Astuti Emy Mupid III, Head of Volunteer Management as well as Chairman of the Workshop Committee, Ir Agoes Susilo Jp and the Person in Charge of the Event, Ir Eko Supriyatno Eko Tenan.
Prof Ernan received an explanation of the activities of ARM HA IPB University along with its principles and procedures, including the main points of thought that will be presented in the workshop.
"I am very proud to see the exposure and actions of ARM HA IPB University which are truly professional and competent in their fields," said Prof Ernan. He hopes that the ranks under the Vice Rector of IPB University for Research, Innovation and Agromaritime Development can immediately establish cooperation to work on community empowerment programs.
Prof Ernan saw that the flexibility and penetrating power of ARM HA IPB University in the field would greatly help IPB University, which often gained the trust of partners to implement programs in various regions. IPB University, continued Prof Ernan, has programs in 4,000 villages throughout the province that can be synergized with ARM HA IPB University.
