IPB University is truly honored to be enlisted in Top 201-250 World position in Times Higher Education (THE) Golden Age University Rankings 2019 on June 25th, 2019. This ranking is part of the prestigious Times Higher Education World University Ranking (THE–WUR). The full ranking of 2019 can be accessed at http://bit.ly/IPB_THEGoldenAge. Rector of IPB University—Dr. Arif Satria demonstrated that the ranking methodology was carried out by independent institutions and it turned out that IPB University’s obtained assessment outputs showed excellent performance, at both national and global level. Enlistment of IPB University in the global university ranks evidenced that the institution does not merely focus on research and teaching, but also benefits and impacts through process of community service programs dissemination and innovation down–streaming. IPB University has been actively contributing in line with Presidential Regulation Number 59, 2017 concerning “Implementation of Achievement of Sustainable Development Goals. THE Golden Age University Rankings applied 13 indicators in five categories, namely teaching (teaching and learning environment), research (amount, income and reputation), citations (research impact), international views (staff, students and researchers) and industry income (knowledge transfer). These were the same as indicators of THE WUR, including signs related to the university performance in producing innovations and their implementation within industries. In this case, the performance of IPB University has been proven, one of which is through the acquisition of the Widyapadhi Awards in 2017 and 2018. This ranking involved 271 universities around the world, more than those in the last year, which only amounted to 200 universities. Only three state universities from Indonesia were in the #201-250 cluster, namely IPB University, Gadjah Mada University, and the Sepuluh November Institute of Technology.
