IPB Employee Cooperative Towards Digitalization
In the Annual Member Meeting (RAT) Book Year 2018 Cooperative Employee of IPB University, Teko Sumodiwirjo, Chairperson of the Sumodiwirjo Teko Cooperative, Dr. Makmun Sarma said that the development of the goods business program and the services of the cooperative management would create an official website and digitize the cooperative member data. He further conveyed, in 2019 there will be an effort to gradually arrange, manage and convert sharia cooperatives. At present, according to him, the Teko Cooperative facilitates its members to have a place to live. The cooperative also markets housing developments for members in the Cikarawang area which is located 100 meters from Agribusiness and Technology Park IPB. To realize this cooperative cooperates with the developer PT. Wahyu Fajar Makmur.
"We are disastrous to use the plots of land that are located in Alam Sinar Sari Housing, Bogor for cooperative efforts. The cooperative will also open a service business for household appliances, medical devices, motorcycle loans and consignment of goods," he continued.
Related to improving welfare in 2019, in addition to the existence of death compensation funds for members, there are also compensation for cooperative members who enter retirement and have been members of the cooperative for at least five years. The amount of compensation increased from the previous value of Rp. 2 million to Rp. 2.5 million.
Another development, the Cooperative Teko will issue education compensation funds for the sons and daughters of cooperatives that require elementary, middle and high school students where the amount is adjusted to the number of applicants with a record per commissariat of two people. At IPB, the Teko Cooperative has 22 commissariat.
