FIA 4.0, Application for Women by IPB Students
After incising several awards at the international level in four countries (Thailand, Singapore, London, and Malaysia), Female in Action (FIA), this femininity movement is present in an application called FIA 4.0. This application was successfully launched thanks to collaboration with students from the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), IPB University, Reza Basya.
This FIA was initially initiated by Zulfa Fauziah, Student of the Management Department, Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM) of IPB University. Zulfa then spread her wings by forming FIA in a structural form with her team consisting of Muthia (Business School), Nurul Nafifah (Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences), Linda Kanny (Faculty of Forestry), Azkina A (Faculty of Agricultural Technology), Nur Indah Fitriawati (Faculty of Animal Husbandry). The total number of FIA administrators has reached 26 people.
“FIA 4.0 is empowering women who prioritize enhancing interpersonal skills through application technology that can be accessed anytime and anywhere. “The application contains four superior features consisting of Female Stories, Inspirative Video, Push Your Skill, Education and Tips, and Suggestion Us features,” explained Zulfa, the outstanding student of the 2019 Faculty of Economics and Management.
Zulfa explained that the four features have their respective advantages. Female Stories is a feature that contains a collection of informative stories from women who want to share their life experiences, through this feature they can send the story and post it to the public. Education and Tips contains a collection of motivations, inspirational articles, education and info in the form of health and history for women.
Then, the Push Your Skill feature contains a collection of soft skills and skills that are equipped with information about activities that can be done by active women in order to play a maximum role. The Inspirative Video contains a collection of educational, motivational and inspirational videos. The video is always updated to suit women’s needs.
Finally, the Suggestion Us feature is specifically for millennial women in asking women who are experts in their fields. This feature is also a forum for criticism and suggestions regarding the development of FIA start-up that is formed both in terms of work programs and content in the application.
“With these features, this application will become a forum for women’s empowerment in Indonesia to prepare women’s self-capacity through modern technology in the face of the 2030 demographic bonus. We will use this application to be able to motivate millennial women to take active roles according to their passion respectively so that women’s participation can be equitable and equal in the coming 2030, “he concluded.
