IPB Has Established Cooperation Program with Chiba University

Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) has established cooperation program with  Chiba University through the SATREPS (Science and Technology Research Partnerships for Sustainable Development), the program is funded by JICA and JST. The cooperation program, entitled "Development and Implementation of New Damage Assessment Process in Agricultural Insurance as Adaptation to Climate Change for Food Security" will last for five years, starting from October 2017 to 2022.

This activity is one of contributions to global food security through improvement and dissemination of agricultural insurance as adaptation to climate change in Indonesia. The program is expected to generate the development and implementation of new methods for effective damage assessment in agricultural insurance by utilizing spatial information. (Wied)
