The motto was towards the creative, productive and independent human being, and the first, the best and the trendsetter institution.

Until now, P2SDM was always carrying out various community programs. One of them was the program titled ‘Kampus Desa’. This program was an innovative program in the implementation of the community empowernment independently by synergizing the potential of IPB, the community, the cadres of Posdaya, the Local Government, the private parties, and Yayasan / LSM. The success of the program of LPPM was to realize Stasiun Lapang Agro Kreatif (SLAK) / Agro Creative Field Station, in the form of the action research activities to implement the appropriate technology package of the research results of IPB to the community, and the program of IPB Goes To Field (IGTF) with the spirit of nawacita to organize the students (IPB, non IPB within the country and overseas) to do the community service activities, so that the nation of Indonesia could go forward and rise together with other Asian nations.

Head of P2SDM of IPB, Dr. Amiruddin Saleh, said the importance of the sustainable collaboration amongst volunteers in the community empowerment. This program was designed to enable the implementation of the continuous and inexpensive financing process, because it was implemented with a spirit of synergy in the self-help community empowerment between various components. The impact of this program was enormous for the progress of the village and Posdaya. The development of village potential was a form of devotion that should be implemented by directly plunging into the community continuously, so it was very relevant to be adapted nationally. Previously, P2SDM of IPB was successfully led by Dr. Ilah Sailah then switched to Prof.Dr. Pudji Muljono and currently switching into Dr. Amiruddin Saleh.(Zul)
