IPB Won the Best Foreign Researcher Cooperation Award
Vice Rector for Research and Cooperation of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Prof. Dr. Anas Miftah Fauzi, was awarded as the Best University having Foreign Researchers Partnership Program for Higher Education Category at the Science and Technology Innovation Evening in Makassar, on 10 August 2017.
Prof. Anas congratulated IPB, by expressing that the Award is a blessing in disguise for the university and is expected to improve the spirit of the scientists and innovators of IPB. Similar Award had also been granted to IPB in Hari Kebangkitan Teknologi Nasional (HARTEKNAS National Technology Awakening Day) on 2016 in Solo.
He stated that IPB will continue to apply and improve 'best practices' in developing a conducive academic climate for researchers and innovators to work productively, and in establishing partnership research programs with international research partners. "We also congratulate the researchers and innovators, as well as all IPB campus communities," he said.
Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti) RI has decided to commemorate Hakteknas annually, during which the granting of Awards for Science and Technology Innovation and National Innovation will take place.
In the press conference released by Kemenristekdikti mentioned, the venue for the present Awards Granting Ceremony for Science and Innovation was State University of Makassar (UNM), on Thursday, 10 August 2017. The event was attended by Minister of Research and Technology Mohamad Nasir, Rector of UNM Husain Syam, Head of LPNK, and Echelon I and II Kemenristekdikti Officials.
The granting of Science and Innovation Award for all scientists and technology communities who equally generating the innovation to develop the country. In addition, to grow the conducive climate for the strengthening of innovations in the continuous improvement of economic and socio-cultural value-added, and to encourage innovators of Academicians, Business, Government, Community (ABGC) in encouraging innovation.
The Science and Technology and Innovation Awards are divided into eight categories, namely Budhipura, Budhipraja, Widyapadhi, Prayogas Sala, Abyudaya, Adibrata, Labdha Kretya, and Widya Kridha.
In addition to granting of Iptek and Innovation Awards, in this special event list of the best faculty member, Internal Quality Assurance Standards, recipients of Hak Kekayaan Intelektual (HKI Intellectual Property Rights), and the best authors and Photographs were announced and were granted the Awards.
