IPB Jumling Team Visited Petir Village
Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) again organized the Jumat Keliling (Jumling Friday Team) in Petir Village, Dramaga District, Bogor Regency, on 11 August 2017. The present program of the Jumat Keliling was centralized in Majelis Nurul Hidayah, Kampong Pasir Andong, RT. 02 RW. 07.
The present Jumling activity in Petir Village was started by the Training Course on "Penerapan Higiene dan Sanitasi pada Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) Industri Rumah Tangga Pangan di Desa (Training Course on the Application of Hygiene and Sanitation on Small Micro Enterprises and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Household Food Industry in the Village". with Micro and Small Scale Business Product Training (UMKM) followed by local residents. This training provides knowledge of how business actors can produce food, maintain hygiene and take precautions to avoid food and drink from dangerous risks, whether physical, chemical, or biological hazards that can cause illness.
Chairman of IPB Jumling Team of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) IPB, drh. Rahmat Hidayat, M.Si said, IPB will continue to improve its relationship the communities of villages around the campus. Because according to him, IPB is also part of the communities of villages around the campus, so it is appropriate IPB give attention, coaching and partnership for progress and welfare of the communities of villages around campus.
In addition, he explained, that IPB is really hope that the university will be beneficial for the communities of villages around the campus. IPB will walk hand in hand with the communities around the campus to promote and develop the village or kelurahan, especially fostering children to be able to study at IPB. "The communities of villages around the campus, especially the communities of Petir Village, must learn and be able to pursue their study at IPB, the campus of the people," he said.
Chairman of RT. 02, M. Yusuf, expressed his gratitude to the IPB as the university pays attention and always cares on the community development of communities around the campus. " We hope IPB continues to build and make the campus circle of IPB, to help the campus residents live more prosperous," said Yusuf.
The recent Jumling program was coincided with the socialization of the Prosperous Family Service Centre Program (PPKS) by Agrianita IPB. Furthermore, the IPB Jumlimg team provided cash donations for 20 orphans, providing facilities for UMKM players, providing health equipment for Posyandu, providing learning tools for early childhood, Iqro book And the Qur'an for majelis taklim.
