JOINT SELECTION TO ENTER TO STATE UNIVERSITIES
(SBMPTN) 2017
On 16 May 2017, Local Committee 33 Bogor held SBMPTN Exam simultaneously in 5 Sub Local Committees which were in Bogor, Cianjur, Bekasi, Karawang and Cirebon.
The five Sub Local Commitees held the written exam with the method of the Paper Based Testing (PBT), while the organization of the Computer Based Testing (CBT) was implemented only in Sub Local Committee Bogor and Sub Local Committee Karawang.
The total number of the participants of SBMPTN 2017 who took the exam in the Local Committee Bogor were as many as 43,206 people consisting of 21,080 participants of the exam group of Saintek, 18,041 people of the exam group of Social Humanities (Soshum), and 4085 participants of Mixed exam group. Of the total number of 620 people took the exam with the method of the CBT and other with the method of the PBT. Compared with the number of the participants of the exam of SBMPTN in 2016 were as many as 37,603 people, so this year there was an increase in the number of the participants as much as 14,9 %.
Among the five test venues of the Local Committee Bogor, the largest number of the participants was in Sub Local Committee Bogor, namely 14,216 participants (13,636 PBT and 580 CBT); the number of the test participants in other Sub Local Committees were Bekasi (13,958 people), Cirebon (7314 people), Karawang of 4106 people (4066 PBT and 40 CBT), and Cianjur (3612 people).
Among the participants, there were 6 people with the deaf disabled, 3 people each in Bogor and Bekasi. The committee had provided the special assistant for the difable participants.
The committee urged the participants to review the exam room the day before the exam (15/4), so that there would be no trouble finding the exam room at the time of the exam. The participants were also encouraged to come to the exam location as early as possible to avoid the traffic jams, especially in the Exam Location of the Campus of UIKA, Jl. KH Sholeh Iskandar, which was prone to the traffic hams due to BORR construction work, and the Campus of IPB Dramaga, because in the same day it was held the re-registration activity of the Student Candidates of IPB, SNMPTN Line.
