Rector’s Public Lecture in Front of Hundreds of Chinese Researchers -ASEAN FEN

Rector of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Prof. Dr. Herry Suhardiyanto with President of Ocean University of China, Prof. YU Zhigang signed a Cooperation Manuscript of Education and Research on Fisheries and Marine Resources, on Wednesday (12/4). This is part of strengthening the role of IPB in fisheries and marine studies in ASEAN and East Asia.

The signing of the cooperation document was witnessed by universities in the ASEAN region and China, members of the ASEAN Fisheries Education Networks (ASEAN-FEN) as part of the China-ASEAN FEN President Forum held in Qingdao, China on 12-13 April 2017. With this Memorandum of Understanding, IPB and OUC agree to jointly build a research consortium between countries in particular those in the ASEAN-FEN.

After signing, Rector had the honor to deliver a public lecture on IPB's role in developing the mandate of Agriculture, Marine and Tropical Bioscience in front of more than 200 researchers and academicianss as members of the China-ASEAN FEN. ** (Mtd)
