Inauguration of Auditorium and Building of Department of Biology of FMIPA of IPB

Rector of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Prof.Dr. Herry Suhardiyanto, inaugurated Building of Auditorium of Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) and Building of Department of Biology of FMIPA, Friday (21/4) in Campus of IPB Dramaga, Bogor.

Dean of FMIPA of IPB, Dr. Sri Nurdiati, thanked the Rector of IPB who had facilitated, so  FMIPA had the buildings of the Department of Biology and the Auditorium.  This inauguration was besides coinciding with the 35th Dies Natalis of FMIPA, also it was coinciding with Kartini Day. To enliven it, FMIPA had set up a series of events, among others FMIPA Family Days, the Open House for the students of SMA as one of the promotional media, the Alumni Gathering in September, the workshop, and the seminar of Green Science.

Presented the dean, the Auditorium of FMIPA and the Building of the Department of Biology had long been enabled, both academic and non academic. Other than that, in its management, FMIPA also developed the program of FMIPA Go Berteman (clean, orderly, safe and comfortable).

“To do that, we form the Task Force of Lecturers, the Educational Staff, the Students and the UKK, as well as the Public Bureau. In addition to keeping the environment clean and safe, it also can function a variety of existing facilities, and the energy can be saved. Hopefully, one day FMIPA Berteman becomes the culture of us all,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Rector congratulated and expressed the gratitude to realize the establishment of the Auditorium of FMIPA and the Building of the Department of Biology.

Also present in this inauguration ceremony, among others the Dean of Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK) of IPB, Dr. Luky Adriyanto; the Head of Public Bureau, Dr. Cahyono Tri Wibowo; Head of Rector’s Secretariat Bureau, Dr. Yonvitner; and the Heads of Departments in FMIPA.(dh)
