Fateta as General Champion in OMI IPB 2016

Rector of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Prof. Dr. Herry Suhardiyanto students attended the closing of the Student Olympics (OMI) 2016 in the IPB Gymnasium, Darmaga Campus, Sunday (29/5). Also present were Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs Prof.Dr. Yonny Koesmaryono, Director of Student Affairs Dr. Sugeng Santoso, supervising lecturers from each faculty, dean and vice deans of the faculties, Director of General Competency Program (PPKU) and Director of the Diploma Program.

 

Chairman of OMI 2016, Ady Herly Reza Nugraha, said that this time OMI 2016 has been conducted smoothly and lively and is the result of the hard work by OMI Team of IPB 2016. He also thanked all those who helped with OMI-IPB 2016.

 

The Students President (Presma) of IPB, Danang Setiawan said that OMI 2016 emphasized to the supporters that they always uphold sportsmanship. He also thanked the athletes who have been giving their best effort in the event of OMI IPB 2016.

 

Meanwhile, Rector congratulated all the organizers for holding OMI IPB 2016. He also hopes with OMI the students learn togetherness and continue to develop their potential.

 

In the closing, the champion of each sport branch was announced, and celebrated with a parade of contingent and performance by the Student Activity Unit (UKM) of IPB, Street Dance Community. OMI was closed by announcing the General Champion of OMI 2016, which was achieved by the Faculty of Agricultural Technology (Fateta) of IPB and the best four supporters namely, Fateta (Battalion Red), Faculty of Veterinary Medicine – Veterinary Medicine (Panzer Purple), Faculty of Animal – Husbandry (Ahoy Mania), and Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences – FPIK (Poseidon). *** (Mtd)
