RSHP of FKH of IPB Held the Training on USG

Animal Hospital of Education, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH), Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) in collaboration with Indonesian Veterinary Medical Association (PDHI) West Java Branch conducted the training on “Diagnosa Ultrasonography (USG) Abdomen Anjing dan Kucing Tingkat Dasar Angkatan V / Diagnosis of Ultrasonography (USG) of Abdomen of Dogs and Cats Basic Level V Batch”, (20-22/4). The activity held in Animal Hospital Building of FKH of IPB followed by the participants from Bogor, Jakarta and Surabaya. 

 

Deputy Executive Director of Animal Hospital of Education (RSHP) of FKH of IPB, Dr. drh. Huda Salahudin Darusman, said, the idea of organizing this training activity was begun in September 2015, I Batch, and at the moment it stepped on V Bacth. “FKH of IPB, committed to this training, can share experience and knowledge about USG on small animals such as dogs and cats,“ he said.

 

It was said, the veterinarian had a special responsibility in the animal welfare and reduced the animal suffering. Other than that, it also improved the quality of veterinary services to the standard services which gave the satisfaction to the service users (client) and the animal welfare (patient).

 

Chief Executive, Dr. Arni Diana Fitri, explained that the purpose of this training was to increase the professionalism of veterinarian, especially to improve the quality of the veterinarian of Indonesia. Training the skill of the veterinarian to examine the organs in the abdomen, such as liver, kidneys, blood vessel, urinary bags, and in pregnant animals (dogs and cats). (Awl)
