The Attractive of FMIPA 2016 Family Day

 Student Executive Body (BEM) of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) organized "FMIPA 2016 Family Day", on Sunday, 21 February 2016,  at Dramaga Campus, Bogor.  This objectives of this event were to strengthen the social relationships of the FMIPA IPB communities, namely students, lecturers and education personnel. This series of activities were planned for this special event, that include Jalan Pagi Sehat (Japas – Healthy Morning Walk), performing arts, futsal and volleyball between faculty members vs. students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, and the door prize raffle.

 

This special event was officially opened by the Vice Rector  for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof.Dr. Yonny Koesmaryono. The route for Japas started from the front of the FMIPA building and finished at the gymnasium. A longer distance of Japas did not discouraged the participants as along the way they could enjoy the fresh air and green campus environment, coupled with a sense of togetherness of participants that represented all Departments.

 

Items of the Program after Japas, were futsal and volleyball to inculcate spirit of sportsmanship among them. This special program was expected to be the preliminary training program for students to compete in the Olympics for IPB students (Olimpiade Mahasiswa IPB – OMI). At the end, the at the  closing ceremony and the door prize raffle winners were announced, winners were awarded rice cooker, blender, radio, and the grand prize was a single door refrigerator. The grand prize was won by students of the Department of Statistics, batch 51. (Wied)
