Dozens of Activists of IPB Participated in Manifesto Declaration of Young Statesmen
Dompet Dhuafa held the National Meeting for the receivers of Beasiswa Aktivis Nusantara, in Palembang South Sumatra (30 April-03 May). This event was attended by activists from several universities of Indonesia, including Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), University of Indonesia (UI), University of Sriwijaya (Unsri), University of Gadjah Mada (UGM), University of Padjajaran (Unpad), UNS and STEI SEBI.
IPB was represented by 16 people of the receivers of Beasiswa Aktivis Nusantara (Baktinusa) of 4 and 5 batches, i.e. Novianti Purnama Sari, Siti Nur Arifah, Zulaika, Elvira Rachmawati from Faculty of Agriculture (Faperta), Rizal Eko Kurniawan and M. Zulfitra Rahmat from Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH), Shohibul Taufik, Amroyanu Habib and Asya Fathya Nur Zakiah from Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK). M. Royan from Faculty of Animal Husbandry (Fapet), Suli Hendra from Faculty of Forestry (Fahutan), Novita Rosiyana and Fatma Nurkhaerani from Faculty of Agricultural Technology (Fateta), Ariyanto Pamungkas from Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), M. Irvan Herviansyah and Dadan Hudanul Hak from Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM).
The receivers were the activists in various student organizations both internal and external campuses. The event of the national meeting of the activists of Nusantara became the new milestone of the national struggle through the youth by declaring the statesmen’s manifesto of the thinking of activitists to build the nation from economics, politics, energy, agriculture, education and law. Exactly on 3 May, in front of the historical monument of the People Struggle Monument (Monpera), the Promise of Young Statesmen to treat Indonesia was declared.
Present in this activity was Vice Chairman of DPR RI, Fahri Hamzah, who said, such a great event to be carried out for the activists in Indonesia as the social control for the government. Furthermore, Marwah Daud Ibrahim invited the activists to manage the life and to plan for the future. This activity was also assembled with the state discussion of the representatives of Ministry of Youth and Sport of RI, as well as it underwent a psychological test for the career mapping.***
