Featured Seminar of Centers of LPPM IPB

In the framework of the monitoring and evaluation of research which had been implemented by Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) held the Featured Seminar of Centers of LPPM in the Ball Room Pajajaran Suites Resort and Convention, Bogor Nirvana Residen (BNR), Monday (1/12).

Seminar that presented these 21 Centers themed “Penajaman Kompetensi Pusat Penelitian Melalui Collaborative Innovation Center / Sharpening of Competence of Research Center Through the Collaborative Innovation Center”. The activity was officially opened by Head of LPPM, Dr. Ir. Prastowo, M.Eng. Also presented Deputy Head of LPPM for Research, Prof. Agik Suprayogi, Former Head of LPPM, Prof. Rizal Syarief, and Prof.Bambang Pramudya, and the Heads of Centers or who represented.

In his speech, Dr.Prastowo said, there were three important things that became the attention, i.e. the increase of central independence, the strengthening of the performance of the central management, and the preparation of quality standard of the research and community service.

The increase of central independence covered the institute research, the research of central mandate, the professional cooperation, the resource support, the collaborative innovation center, the relation, and the internal communication.

The utilization of performance of the center management covered the legality aspect, the structure of role and responsibility, HR of researchers and educators, the board of directors, the roadmap of PPM, the services and facilitation.

The preparation of quality standard for the research and community service covered the standard of results, the contents, the process, the valuation, the implementer, the means and infrastructure, the management, and the standard of funding.

The event was divided into four sessions. The first session, with the moderator was Dr. Ir. Iskandar Lubis, M.S, and the presenters from PPLH, P4W, PKSPL, and INCUBIE. The second session, as the moderator was Prof. Joko Santoso, with the presenters from PSSP, SBRC, SEAFAST, SP Biopharmaca, and CENTRAS. The third session, as the moderator was Dr. Iskandar, and the presenters from PKHT, PPSHB, CREATA, REKLATAM, CARE. The fourth session, as the moderator was Dr. Hefni Effendi, with the presenters from INTERCAFE, CI-BEST, PS Bencana, PSP3, CCROM. In addition to the presentation, each research center also held a mini expo. (wrw).
