IPB Organized the Seminar on 213 Research Results

Around 213 (two hundred thirdteen) researchers attended the seminar on the results of research works implemented by IPB.  The special event was organized by Research and Community Empowerment Institute Bogor Agricultural University (IPB LPPM), held at IPB International Convention Center, on  10 December 2012.

It was stated by the Deputy Head of Community Service of LPPM IPB,  Dr.Ir. Prastowo, as the chairman of the organizing committee, "Reports of the research works presented  at the seminar are  dominated by food studies, out of the 213 reports 63 are on food, 10 are on energy and the rest are  on  natural resources and the environment, health, social economic, cultural and technological engineering.

Moreover, according to the Head of LPPM IPB, Prof. Bambang Pramudya, that the research results presented at the seminar were  funded  by  various funding organizations, including those from the Ministry of Education and Culture, Ministry of Agriculture, IPB public funds,  and joint cooperation between IPB with State Owned Interprises (BUMN). Prof. Bambang expected that the participants of the seminar will share the important information to the community, thus they will be able to apply the research results for their benefitials. (Wied).
