Next Year is the Golden Dies IPB

The committee of Dies Natalis IPB of 2008-2012 periods, Friday night (19/10), was officially dismissed with respect by the Executive Secretary for Rector of IPB, Dr Bonny P W Soekarno, in Campus of IPB Baranangsiang Bogor. This discontinuation with respect was the term which was embedded by Dr Bonny toward the program which was originally packed in the form of this “dissolution of committee”.
 
Dr Bonny representing the Board of Executives of IPB expressed his thanks and appreciation to all committees who succeeded the program of Dies IPB in each year. “Insya Allah next year we will commemorate the 50th Golden Dies IPB. Then of course after the discontinuation of this committee, the committee will be reappointed for the next Dies. This committee will initiate the program by program for the golden dies IPB,” said Dr Bonny.
 
Previously, Chairman of the Committee of Dies Natalis IPB Dr Meika Syahbana Rusli, also expressed his thanks for cooperation that had been implemented by all committees, so they were able to perform the annual agenda over the past five years. Dr Meika also expressed his apology if during he led there were so many mistakes.
 
Attended on this occasion among them were Sports Coordinator, Prof Dr Khasywar Syamsu, Open Session Coordinator, Dr Drajat Martianto, Arts Festival Coordinator, Local Fruit Campaign and IPB Fun Bike, Dr Iwan D Riswandi, and a number of other committees.
 
Beforehand, the coordinators were hailed to entertain the committees through singing accompanied by a single organ. And a song called “Kemesraan” which was popular sung by Iwan Fals ended this amicably meeting. (nm)
