Vocational School Got Three Champions at a Time in the 2019 OVEB Event

The Vocational School Student (SV) of the IPB University succeeded in winning three champions in the Economic and Business Vocational Olympiad (OVEB) held by Andalas University (21-23/3). The team from the IPB Vocational School won first place in the Accounting, Finance and Tax Olympiad, Second Place in the Digital Start-Up Business Plan, Second Winner in the Vlog and the Most Favorite Champion.

The IPB SV Team that won the 1st Olympic Accounting Champion was Muhammad Hafiedz Amrullah, Fany Indriani Permana, and Gustin Fanira, while the team that won the 2nd place in the Digital Startup Business Plan came from the Information Management Study Program, Muhammad Rangga Luthanza, Diaz Fadilah, and Thalia Indah Milagrosa Alberto. The winners of the second vlog winner and the most favorite champions were Cindy Nur Oktaviano, Devi Wahyuni, Fakhril Razi from the Agricultural Production and Development Technology Study Program and the Communication Study Program.

Muhammad Hafiedz Amrullah said that his team must solve complex accounting cases. “Alhamdulillah, we can qualify for the finals and get first place and in the future, we plan to take part in similar competitions,” he said.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Rangga Luthanza said that when competing, he and his colleagues felt that the toughest competitors came from Haluoleo University, Indonesian Islamic University, and Brawijaya University. “Moreover, the only thing that they have created is the web and its applications as a whole. However, we are not afraid, the Business Plan that we competed was titled FarmIT. That is an Android-based application in agriculture, which turned out to succeed in winning second place, “he said.

In addition, there is Cindy Nur Oktaviano, who feels proud because, in the 2019 OVEB event, she can win second place and favorite champion. According to him, the competition participants came from all Vocational Schools in Indonesia.

“Alhamdulillah, I can win second place and my favorite champion. Vlogs that we present about traveling while protecting the environment. We present natural scenery when we do the Familiar Night (Makrab) at Ciputri Waterfall. And we take advantage of the scenery and not just a makrab or tour, but we also maintain the cleanliness of the environment by collecting garbage there using a trash bag,” he said. (RYS)
