IPB Student Won Second Place in Inspiring Youth of Bogor Regency
Another achievement was made by one of the students of Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB), Ghazali Imam Nugroho. Zaly, his nickname, became the inspiring Youth Champion II of Bogor Regency. Inspiring youth is an event held by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) in several cities and districts in Indonesia. From nine competed fields, Zaly took the field of entrepreneurship because it was in accordance with his passion in doing business.
To get additional pocket money, Zaly started his business from selling used novels, merchandise and jersey. Now the clothes convection business called Gyzsindo has a turnover that continues to increase every month.
According to him, the rise of the clothes convection business has made Zaly have to look for a differentiator from Gyzsindo from other clothing convection businesses. Therefore, Zaly offers attractive offers to his customers.
"We provide free design services. And of course, our principle is cheap, fast, and good quality. In addition, we also provide whole-hearted services and every member of the team who works with passion are Gyzsindo's added value in the eyes of consumers," he said.
Ready to expand its business wing, at the end of November, Gyzsindo will launch four brands with the theme of daily clothes and sports wear, in collaboration with the Directorate of Business and Commercial Asset Management of IPB to make IPB official marchandise. In addition, for businesses in agriculture, Zaly will develop a potato farm on an area of 1-2 hectares in Magelang.
"Business requires a solid team and not only money-oriented. The business must be passion-oriented because not all businesses will immediately benefit, and failing in business is a common thing. Gyzsindo's team in the first three years was not paid at all. I hope that Gyzsindo can become a business empire in Bogor, absorbing as many workers as possible in my hometown," he said. (FM)
