Millennials prefer to look for information through websites, so that websites in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of the Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), both faculty websites and departmental websites must be able to attract the millennials (prospective students) to more determined to choose a study program where he will study later. The way is by making informative, interesting and up to date content on the websites of each faculty and department.

This was conveyed by the Head of Public Relations, Communication Bureau of IPB, Siti Nuryati, S.TP, M.Sc, as a speaker in Journalistic and Publicity Training for Website Articles and Implementation of SIMARSIP at Arch Hotel Bogor (4/12). FMIPA as the organizer hopes that by holding this training, the faculty web and each department will be more informative and able to improve the ranking of the university's website performance conducted by Webometrics.

"Through Journalistic Training, it is expected to make the faculty and department web more informative and able to improve the ranking of the university's website performance by Webometrics. While SIMARSIP Training is expected to maximize the digitalization of archives in the FMIPA environment to simplify the process of searching the archives and documents needed," said Prof. Dr. Dra. Purwatiningsih, MS, Deputy Dean of Academic and Student Affairs, FMIPA IPB.

Meanwhile, the Head of Administration of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Fathurrohman, S.Kom, M.Kom had explained several things related to SIMARSIP which will soon be implemented. "SIMARSIP is an Archive Management Information System. SIMARSIP will make all the activities of filing correspondence or other documents and will be backed up in the computer system. This will be much easier when we try to look for the archives needed. The process is fast, anyone who wants to archive documents or letters is just enough to scan and upload the file to the SIMARSIP," said Fathurrahman as the originator of SIMARSIP. (FM)
