The SHARE scholarship programme offers a fully-funded, one semester exchange for undergraduate students from selected universities across the ASEAN region. SHARE, the European Union Support to Higher Education in the ASEAN Region, is a four-year initiative by the EU and ASEAN. The internationalization of higher education is key in guaranteeing a lasting economic development, enabling the local labour force to compete on a global level. Only English programs offered by joining universities will be available for the prospective applicants.

On 31 May 2017 SHARE announced several candidates who will be funded under SHARE Scholarship Batch 3. There are 50 (fifty) students who were selected to be awarded  ASEAN-EU Scholarships and 125 (one hundred twenty five) students who were selected to be awarded  Intra-ASEAN Scholarships, three of whom are students of the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics And Management of Bogor Agricultural University (FEM  IPB).

The successful candidates will join the student exchange program for one semester (September 2017 to January 2018). They are Lisa Aisa / Man 51 (Vietnam National University); Novita Sari / Man 52 (SGH Warsaw School of Economics, Poland); And Fita Wahyuningsih / Man 52 (Payap University, Thailand).

The scholarships will cover their  approved tuition and examination fees, stipend (living allowance), return airfare from home country to destination country, health insurance, warm clothing allowance, study materials, and visa fee. The challenge is therefore to harmonize the system in order to have comparable and transferable credits in ASEAN, that are grounded on commonly recognised learning outcomes. SHARE will support ASEAN in harmonising regional higher education by sharing European experiences, to promote and enhance the quality, internationalisation, and competitiveness of higher education in ASEAN member countries.
