RUAYA C-Day 2016

Alumni Association of Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science (HA of FPIK), Bogor Agricultural University (IPB)  in collaboration with FPIK of IPB held the event of RUAYA-C Day 2016, Saturday (3/9). This activity was “Hari Pulang Kampus Alumni FPIK IPB / Campus Returning Day of Alumni of FPIK of IPB” and attended by more than two thousand alumni of FPIK of IPB who worked in various fields. The activity of RUAYA-C Day 2016 was expected to be able to build the synergy of alumni and academicians in the face of the campus dynamic and the progress of the world’s fisheries and marine.

 

The Chairman of HA-FPIK of IPB, Ir. Abdul Aziz, MBA, conveyed  that it was necessary for the coordination of the alumni of FPIK of IPB to help realize the government’s vision. According to him, currently it became a very good opportunity to take a more real role through the synergy cooperation between academics, business world and government in building the fisheries and the maritime of Indonesia.

 

The Dean of FPIK of IPB, Dr. Luky Adrianto, revealed that the activity of RUAYA-C Day 2016 was part of 53rd Dies Natalis of IPB and Dies Natalis of FPIK. He hoped that this activity was not completed today only, but it could improve the quality of integration among the entire academicians and alumni of FPIK of IPB. 

 

Meanwhile, the Rector of IPB, Prof.Dr. Herry Suhardiyanto, said the alma mater and the alumni should be linked. “No large campuses without the reputation of alumni, and the reputation of alma mater can help the alumni,” he said. 

 

On this occasion, it was given “Ruaya C Tribute for C Alumni” to Prof. (R) Dr. Fatuchri Sukardi, Ir. Pong Suwignyo, M.Sc, Prof.Dr. Rokhmin Dahuri, and Dr. Mustafa Abubakar. Other than that, it was also held the inauguration of the governing body of the area of HA-FPIK of IPB of 2016-2020 period for 15 areas in Indonesia and the launching program of C-Fund. C-Fund was the semi-independent institution initiated by the Dean of FPIK and HA-FPIK helping the students of FPIK who needed the help of the tuition cost and the living cost. 

 

The activity of RUAYA-C Day 2016 was enlivened with the expo of the effort and the innovation of fisheries and marine, the entertainment stage, the healthy morning walk of C-Fun Walk, the entertainment of Exploration Percussion of ITK, Traditional dance of the students of FPIK, the batik silk auction activity of the fisheries edition specially ordered for the event of RUAYA-C Day 2016, and the sales proceeds entered for the fund of C-Fund.(RF)
