IPB Received the Visit of Multi Istiqlal High School

Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB – Bogor Agricultural University) received the visit of the Sekolah SMA Multi Istiqlal group of Bekasi, and they acceptance was carried out in the Auditorium Andi Hakim Nasution, Dramaga Campus, Bogor, recently. The arrival of the  group is the university visit planned by Multi Istiqlal High School.

 

The Principal of Sekolah SMA Multi Istiqlal, Zainal Abidin, MA, stated that the visit is very important event for students as provision for their future in selecting their future university. "Sekolah SMA Multi Istiqlal was founded only recently, two years ago. The visit will enable students to plan in selecting their future university as they have important information they got from the trusted sources, "he said.

 

In addition, the Principle  stated the reason why choosing IPB as their visit as the  location of IPB is quite close to their school, as well as the  achievements IPB made. The delegation were briefed on IPB by the Head of Promotion, Bureau of Legal Affairs, Promotion and Public Relations IPB, Dr.drh. M. Fachrudin. As requested by the Principal, Dr. Fachrudin, also presented the differences between learning process in the university and in the high school.

 

The brief information on IPB made students seemed enthusiastic, they then raised some questions in the question and answer session. Their questions related on the campus life and available scholarships in IPB as well. The end of  program was exchange of souvenirs and  group photos.  (Wied)
