Data Migration Week of IPB

Directorate of Integration of Data and Information System (DIDSI), Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) holds “Pekan Migrasi, Pemutakhiran dan Integrasi Data IPB / Migration Week, Update and Integration of Data of IPB”. Activities carried out on 11-15 January 2016 take place in Graha Widya Wisuda, Campus of IPB Darmaga, Bogor.

 

Rector of IPB, Prof.Dr. Herry Suhardiyanto, asserted, the update and the integration of data were important to do. According to him, with the integration of data and the update would facilitate the community and the stakeholder in obtainining the most recent data related to Tri Dharma of IPB. Other than that it also facilitated the coordination, so that the decision making would be faster and facilitated the community in making the report. The Rector added, IPB was a large institution, so many stakeholders used the website would retrieve the data of IPB.

 

The data that would be updated covered all existing data in IPB. The first day was started from the data of personnels and students, and would be continued with the academic data starting from D3, S1, S2 and S3, Business School and others, also related to the financial data of all work units that existed in IPB. “Through this activity, it is expected that the data and the information of all the website of work units can be updated,” said the Rector.

 

The same thing was delivered by Vice Rector of Infrastructure and Business of IPB, Dr. Arif Imam Suroso, who said that the migration, the update and the integration of data of IPB were to encourage and oversee the overall performance of IPB. “We’ll try to integrate all,” he added. In  this occasion, Director of DIDSI, Dr. Idat Galih Permana, explained the mechanism of data update. (dh)
