IPB Targeted to Achieve A Accreditation with Maximum Value

 

In order to prepare the institution accreditation in 2018, Internal Audit Office of Bogor Agricultural University (KAI IPB) held a workshop on the audit preparation of institution, Thursday (3/12). The workshop was conducted in IPB International Conven?on Center (IICC), Bogor. 

 

This activity was followed by Deans, Directors, Heads of Office and Bureau, and Institute for Research and Community Services (LPPM) of IPB. Presented as the speakers in the workshop, among others Head of KAI, Dr. Wonny Ahmad Ridwan, and the lecturer of IPB who was also the assessor of National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT), Prof.Dr. Bambang Pramudya Noorachmat.

 

Dr. Wonny explained that in 2016 the audit would be carried out throughout the institution of IPB related to the adequacy and the suitability. It was necessary to see what was needed in order that IPB could achieve the maximum value in the accreditation of 2018. 

 

“So today we discuss what standards that will be used as the basis in the audit implementation. From here we map out what the shortcomings and advantages are, that what becomes the target,” explained Dr. Wonny.

 

This year IPB targeted A accreditation with the maximum value of 400. “Our expectations are not too much more that must be addressed, on the last accreditation we get the A accreditation but with the value of 376, to meet the 24 point more that we should map,” continued Dr. Wonny. 

 

In the same occasion, one of the workshop participants namely Dean of Faculty of Animal Husbandry of IPB, Dr. Mohamad Yamin, explained that the accreditation existing in the study programs and the faculties would determine the quality existed at IPB level.

 

“Therefore, KAI invites us to prepare it. How is the implementation of the vision in faculties and departments to make sure that it must be run. So together at IPB level it can reach the maximum value,” said Dr. Yamin. (as)
