IPB Graduated 1,419 Ahli Madya (Associate Experts)
Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) graduated again its graduates at Grha Widya Wisuda (GWW), Campus of IPB Dramaga, Bogor, Wednesday-Thursday (26-27/8). As much as 1,419 graduates of Diploma Education Program were graduated as Ahli Madya (Associate Experts) in the Graduation and Delivery of Diploma of Phase I of the 2014/2015 Academic Year.
The Graduation was opened and led directly by Rector of IPB, Prof. Dr. Herry Suhardiyanto. “On behalf of the entire academic community of IPB, I extend my congratulations to the graduates upon the successful completion of education. Congratulations also due to family and friends who continue to give moral and material supports for the success of the graduates,” said the Rector in his speech.
On this occasion, the Rector also reminded the graduates to be ready to face the working world, especially in the face of Asean Economic Community (MEA) which was in sight. “With the free flow of skilled labor, it can be ensured that the competition on the labor market will be intense. ASEAN citizens can be out of one country to another to get a job without restriction in the destination country,” explained the Rector.
“Such challenges should be the spirit for the graduates to develop themselves. I hope the graduates can continue to improve capacities, skills, including foreign language skills required for facing the labor market competition which is increasingly fierce,” hoped the Rector.
In the same occasion, Prof. Dr. Aunur Rofiq representing Alumni Association of IPB called on the graduates to entrepreneurship. “Indonesia needs the entrepreneur force. We hope brothers and sisters to start the business in agribusiness. We also hope that the guardians to support their children for entrepreneurship,” he explained.
As for the graduates of the best Ahli Madya (Associate Experts) in the graduation of Diploma Program of Phase I were among others Neng Nurhasanah was from Accounting Skills Program at the same time the best graduate of Diploma Education Program of IPB, Munira Intan Sari was the best graduate from Livestock Management and Technology Program, Asri Nurhayati was the best graduate from Production Technology and Community Development of Agriculture Program, Nova Lita Sri Maryam was the best graduate from Chemical Analysis Program, Fernalia Halim was the best graduate from Informatics Management Program, Basilia Yuliani was the best graduate from Industrial Management Program, Dinah Rafidah was the best graduate from Food Service Industry Management and Nutrition Program, Tyas Annisa Nur Ashri was the best graduate from Communication Program, Imas Rahayu lulusan was the best graduate from Paraveterinarian Program, Ferdiana Ayu Cahyaningtyas was the best graduate from Seed Industry Technology Skills Program and Yusuf Rahmat Sholeh was the best graduate from Engineering and Environmental Management Program.
