Friday Tour of IPB Arrived in Kampung Carangpulang

Team of Friday Tour, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), got back in touch with the community in the circumference of campus, Friday (7/8). This time, Friday Tour of IPB was present in Cikarawang Village, Dramaga Sub-district, Bogor District, precisely in Kampung Carangpulang RT 03 RW 05.

 

Head of Cikarawang Village, Sapturi Wijaya, welcomed the Friday Tour of IPB which for the first time was present in RW 05. As the village which was quite close to the campus of IPB, Sapturi committed that the village he led would be maintained into the agricultural land. “Agriculture is supporting the lives of the people of Kampung Carangpulang,” he said saying that he was very happy with already many young peope of Cikarawang Village who studied in IPB

 

Team Leader of the Friday Tour of IPB, Dr. Hartoyo, who was also Deputy Head of Community Service, Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of IPB in his speech said, “IPB is pleased with the commitment of the Head of Cikarawang Village which retains Cikarawang Village as the agricultural areas. Of course, IPB strongly supports the commitment”.

 

In this occasion, Team of Friday Tour of IPB handed over the rice and corn seeds for the farmer group of Subur Jaya, the compensation for 20 orphans, the educational tool for PAUD, and Al-Quran and Iqro for Madrasah Nurul Iman. Attending in this activity amongst all Agrianita of IPB, the representative of the Chief of Police Sector of Dramaga, the team of Public Relations of IPB, the team of LPPM IPB, the farmers, the cadre of PKK, and the community leaders.
